What Our Graduates Say

Frequently Asked Questions.

Our training is designed for individuals seeking foundational knowledge and professional preparation for private security work. Enrollment in a course does not guarantee licensing, registration, employment, or approval by the Georgia Board.

The program consists of three eight-hour training days:
• Day 1: Role of Private Security and Legal Aspects.
• Day 2: Patrol, Observation, and Incident Response.
• Day 3: Security Resources, Customer Service, Review, and Final Examination.
Students must complete all required instructional hours, activities, assessments, and attendance requirements.
Courses may be delivered in person, through live virtual instruction, or in another approved format, depending on the scheduled class. The delivery method will be clearly identified during registration. Students are responsible for confirming that a course meets the requirements applicable to their intended license or registration.
Students must earn a minimum score of 80% on the final examination unless a different standard is required by applicable law, Board rules, or company policy. Students must also satisfy attendance, participation, assignment, and conduct requirements.
No. Course completion does not automatically result in a security license, registration, firearms permit, or employment. Students must separately satisfy all application, background-check, registration, and other requirements established by the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies.
No. The 24-hour basic security-officer course does not replace Georgia’s separate firearms instruction, range qualification, weapons permit, employer authorization, or armed-security registration requirements.
Students must attend and complete all required instructional hours. A student who arrives late, leaves early, misses a session, or cannot be properly verified may be required to attend a future session or complete approved makeup instruction before receiving a certificate.
Students need a reliable internet connection, computer or tablet, functioning camera, microphone, speakers, and an individual email address. Students must remain visible and responsive during attendance checks and instructional activities unless the instructor approves an accommodation.
Certificates are issued after the instructor verifies the student’s identity, attendance, participation, assignments, required instructional hours, and passing examination score.
